I took my daughter's 2000 RAV4 to Familia Automotive and that's exactly how they treated us, like family. The owner was great as well as the staff.. even though the problem was minor he thoroughly checked the car and sent a video via text as well text messages letting us know when it was ready along with a thorough phone call explaining everything he had found. Familia Automotive is the go to place. Klent helped me with an engine swap and helped me pick the best engine we can find. Klent also saved me money by suggesting that I replace the clutch while everything was already apart. They kept me updated on my cars status daily and gave accurate pix and vids on what was going on. I've been hunting for a good mechanic in Stockton for awhile. None of my friends or co-workers were able to recommend one to me. I went with google reviews and hit the jackpot! I was feeling some vibration while driving my 2007 Lexus and brought it into Familia automotive and the issue ended up being difficult to diagnose. Balanced tires? check, wheel bearings good? check. Turns out I needed a new driver side axle and he was able to accurately diagnose the issue. The owner Klent kept me informed throughout the process and his pricing was very affordable. You can tell he is a hard working and honest individual and he knows his cars! Now if any of my co-workers or friends ask me for a good honest mechanic. I'll be sending them to Familia Automotive.

Brought multiple cars here and was satisfied each time. The most competitively priced shop for quality service that I have found. Most recently had the complete brake system replaced in my car. Pads and Rotors front and back. First, it was done for hundreds cheaper than quotes from other shops. Then after some abnormal wear on one set of pads, it was determined that one set of pads were defective. Then, the warranty kicked in and I had no out of pocket costs. Just had my wife's 2019 RAV4 oil change done, AC filter, and engine filter replaced. In less than 30 minutes everything was finished. He also checked every other component on the car. I had a problem with this vehicle for sometime. When I come to a complete stop it has a weird jerk when you come to a complete stop and pick up speed. He also checked that out for me and we confirmed a problem is there, so my appointment is already set up to get that taken care of. This is the spot. Y'all won't regret it

This is one of the best auto shop I've ever been to. The waiting room and bathroom is so clean. Customer service is one of the best. These guys know exactly what they're doing 100%. I originally came to get my catalytic converters replaced. I had some small issues, and I still took care of it for me even with the conversion of my O2 sensor. I've been looking for shop to get my car repair for some time and I found the shop. Trust me you guys won't regret. You name it, they can do it even for modifications. Prices are reasonable. And I have never experienced when an owner educates you about your vehicle depending on what your there for. But Clint was very professional, knowledgeable about his shop and takes really good care of his customers. And not only he fixes cars but also does all the paper work inside the office. Waiting Room is clean and hospitable. Plenty of space to sit, drink and use the restroom. Yes, well cleaned restroom. Staff was customer friendly. Had a weird issue with my son's 97 Wrangler. Since the car was dead I need a tow and one back to Brentwood wasn't worth the cost. Familia was suggested to me as "the best mechanic I ever had" from a gentleman that lives in Stockton (I live in Brentwood). Clint referred me to a tow company that was half the quote I had gotten myself from another and I had it towed to his place. Clint seems to be very honest, and I believe he is one of those folks you don't have to know long to know they are real. Like I said, I live in Brentwood (40 miles away), but I am probably going to bring my cars (I have a small collection) to Familia Automotive for anything more than an oil change (they do those too). As a matter of fact I am calling Clint right now for another issue.

I noticed a water leak issue in my 2015 Honda Civic where both drivers side/passenger side carpets were soaked. I had an idea of the source but know nothing about cars so I decided to get it checked out. I was referred to Familia Automotive by a a good friend of mine. I called and spoke to Clint and was given an appointment the following morning. Location was kind of hidden but very clean space. I was immediately greeted by Clint, no wait time. He was able to do a couple quick checks to identify if it was a simple fix before charging a diagnostic fee which I greatly appreciated. Although I didn't need service from the location, he was still very friendly and knowledgeable about what was going on. He was kind enough to guide me to a detailing shop and windshield repair location to help with my car issues. Fast, friendly, honest. Will definitely return for future services.

I really like this shop! Klent is a good, honest businessman. I had a problem with my Four Runner, and I was almost certain it was the transmission. This is what I told Klent over the phone. He could have easily taken my word for it and charge me big bucks for a new transmission. He did not do that. I never leave reviews online but had to for this shop. A couple weeks ago I thought I needed an alternator replaced. Took my car in and they checked it out. Most other shops would have just replaced it anyways, but the owner Klent was honest and told me it was just the battery and sent me on my way. Ended up needing my rear brakes done a few weeks later. They got me in the next day when I got off work and took care of it quickly and the pricing was reasonable! Can't recommend this place enough. Called in for a oil change on my 2009 c300 and got me scheduled to come in the following day. At the drop off I mentioned if it was okay to check for any suspension issues or any bushings that needed to be replaced. The owner said it was no problem , he will check it while it's off the ground. While on my way home, he's now sending me pictures of my bushings and with detailed explanation on each of components . We took our work truck " Benn1e" in for a routine oil change this morning, which was scheduled the day before by Co-Owner and wife of Clint, Jocelyn. She was very communicative and kind. Being that "Benn1e" is our work truck, she got us in ASAP. As we arrived and walked in, we were greeted by Clint, the Co-Owner and mechanic, with a bright smile and a welcoming greeting. (Not to mention the great coffee selection and comfy waiting room haha). He performed the service in a timely manner, he was very knowledgeable and anytime we had a question he always responded with great information. Familia Automotive will not disappoint! With this husband and wife team you will always be pleased with their services. They also offer the best prices in town hands down. So if you haven't already, stop by and check them out. Familia Automotive is a great place to service your vehicle. I got my brakes and rotors replaced in less then 90 minutes same day appointment.
